Area residents urged to report storm damage

Rock Island County residents without property insurance who had property damage that made their home uninhabitable after July 21 windstorm are asked to call Rock Island County Zoning Department.
Residents should call the 24-hour line (309) 558-3754 with name, address, phone number, amount of damage and length of time unable to be in their home.
The county needs accurate information to apply for disaster assistance from Federal Emergency Management Agency.
