Rock Island firefighters responded Wednesday afternoon to a fire at a house damaged by fire three months ago.

Wednesday’s fire occurred at 12:26 p.m. at 1403 6th Ave.

When firefighters arrived, smoke was showing from the upper floor of the vacant, boarded-up 1 1/2 story structure.

Firefighters performed defensive measures to fight the blaze as the residence was deemed unsafe to enter.

There were no injuries.

Firefighters were on the scene for three hours.
