Listen in on flood meeting today by phone

 DES MOINES — The public will get a chance to listen in as members of the Rebuild Iowa Advisory Committee complete their recommendations for recovery and rebuilding of the state after floods and natural disasters this year.

The committee is set hold a telephonic meeting at 4 p.m. today, which will be carried on a conference call the public is invited to join.

Before the meeting, a draft report is expected to be available today on the Rebuild Iowa Office Web site at rio.iowa.gov. The final report will be delivered to Gov. Chet Culver on Tuesday.

The number for those who want to listen in is (866) 685-1580. The conference code required to join is 0009991691.

The public can also listen to the meeting at the Rebuild Iowa Office at 4459 121st St., Urbandale.
