Injured Davenport pedestrian recovering

A woman hit by a car Friday morning is recovering from her injuries, police said.
The woman walked into traffic on Locust Street near the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds about 7:30 a.m. and was hit by a car, police said. She was taken to the hospital for treatment of some broken bones.
Neither she nor the driver the car will be ticketed, police said. The woman will undergo a mental health evaluation.
