I have always been a Democrat and as I watched the Democratic convention, I am reminded why. It is time for change! After Joe Biden’s speech, I had to write. It is time for America to start taking care of the working people and quit giving breaks to corporate America.

This message is to corporate America and the Republicans that support this way of life.

There wouldn’t be corporations if it wasn’t for the working people. I work hard for my money to have the corporations get richer while I struggle to pay my mortgage, my gas bill and try to provide a very simple existence for my children. There are no extras in my household.

Each paycheck goes to paying a necessity to live while I watch corporate employees receive pay increases, free meals, free transportation, bonuses, etc.

This is your chance to fight back for our rights and start being acknowledged for what we do to make corporations successful.

Obama/Biden should be your vote!

One in 10 Americans will celebrate Thanksgiving Day at a restaurant and more than half will purchase restaurant-prepared takeout items. And the cost is up for those doing it all at home. What are you doing this year?
I am hosting Thanksgiving at my house.
I will be a guest at someone’s home.
I plan to eat out at a local restaurant.
I will eat at home but we are not cooking: Some or all of the food will be catered.
I hosted Thanksgiving for years. It is someone else’s turn.
    I have no plans.
