Public offices and services affected by the Columbus Day holiday Monday:
Federal — Post offices will be closed, with no home mail delivery
MetroLINK — The transit service will operate on its normal schedule
Iowa cities and counties
City offices will be open in Bettendorf, Clinton, Davenport, Eldridge and LeClaire
Scott County offices will be open
Iowa’s driver’s license stations are always closed on Mondays. There is no holiday closure.
Iowa Workforce Center — Offices will be closed Monday.
Illinois cites and counties
City offices will be open in East Moline, Moline, Milan, Rock Island and Silvis.
Black Hawk College will be closed
Rock Island Courthouse will be closed
Illinois Job Service will be closed
Illinois driver’s license stations were closed Saturday for the holiday. They are always closed on Mondays.
