Young people in grades 5-12 who volunteer can apply for Prudential Spirit of Community Awards through Oct. 31. Applications are available at prudential.com/community/
spirit, or by calling (888) 450-9961. Students fill out applications which are certified by middle and high school officials, Girl Scout councils or
4-H offices. Schools and organizations nominate a student to advance to state level
competition.
