German classes begin in Davenport

A Bavarian intern will teach beginning German classes from 6-7 p.m. Thursdays from Oct. 23 to Dec. 11 at German American Heritage Center, 712 W. 2nd St., Davenport. Instructor Jeanine Faerber will focus on everyday language use for travelers.

Class costs $50 for GAHC members and $60 for nonmembers, plus materials. Faerber, a city of Bettendorf intern, is from Kronach, Bavaria, one of Bettendorf’s sister cities. Call (563) 322-8844 to register, or mail payment and reservation.
