Howard Dean will be in Q-C today

Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean will be in Clinton, Iowa,  and Davenport today to rally early voters for Barack Obama’s presidential campaign.

Dean will be in the gymnasium at Horace Mann Elementary School, 250 20th Ave. N., Clinton, at 8:45 a.m.

Then, he’ll be at the Galvin Fine Arts Center auditorium at St. Ambrose University at 10:45 a.m.

Dean is on a two-day tour of the state to try to encourage early voting.

An early voting site is open today at the Rogalski Center on the St. Ambrose campus from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Only people from Davenport and Bettendorf precincts can vote there. Dean also will be in Cedar Falls and Cedar Rapids on Thursday to promote early voting.
