Wedding, Texas-style, comes to Geneseo

The Futrelle Sisters — Frankie, Honey Raye and Twink — are throwing a wedding for Frankie’s daughter, Tina Jo, and the rumor mill in their small Texas town is working overtime during the Richmond Hill Players’ comedy “Dearly Beloved,” opening Aug. 14 and playing for two weekends in Geneseo, Ill. The Futrelle Sisters have never been strangers to gossip, the program notes say, but the mother of the bride steadfastly holds out hope that she can pull off one “final Futrelle occasion” with elegance and style, and the help of a cantankerous wedding coordinator.
